Everything surrounding us comes alive and all our senses are awakened to the sound of an entertaining story and good food.
On this guided walking tour experience, you will hear of times when the Mesolithic hunter gatherer settled around the harbour bay all the way up to the modern day rejuvenated town, now full of food venues.
Heritage stories from local dairy food production and fishing at its quayside, to the peacefulness of the lookout and viewing of the natural Cunnigar sand spit feature across the harbour, your tour guide Stíofán Mac Cárthaigh will take you around its winding streets to entertain you with stories while incorporating three food stops.
With venues including the renowned Tannery Restaurant with acclaimed head chef Paul Flynn, a visit to The Old Bank Restaurant with its stunning interior and food, and a warm welcome at The Local Bar with an Irish coffee – it’ll make for unforgettable memories, and tastes!
