Story Experience
Enjoy 2 nights exploring County Waterford’s food, drink and landscapes
Co. Waterford has the advantage of being able to source its food from the luscious land and clear seas right on its doorstep. This area has a long tradition of producing great food and drink and sets the bar for innovative, sustainable food.
The Waterford Food Story Experience includes two nights bed and breakfast in the Granville Hotel with and evening meal in the award-winning Everett’s Restaurant.
You’ll also meet Marie Power, The Sea Gardener, and be taken for a ‘Walk on the Wild Side’ on an hour-long forage along the beach, exploring rocks and shoreline of Waterford’s Copper Coast to get the lowdown on edible seaweed.
Exploring doesn’t stop there as you’ll also experience the gardens and natural woodland that surrounds GROW HQ with an audio tour. Afterwards, you get a real taste of the produce with a seasonal meal at the café overlooking the kitchen garden with a homemade savoury sharing platter, homebrewed kombucha and delicious desserts.
