Sophie’s Taste Creations
Sophie is a mother of two, a mechanical engineer and a pastry chef. She runs a successful home baking business specialising in handcrafted cakes and desserts in Tramore. Her son was born with a serious gut disease, and a healthy diet was key to his recovery. This inspired her to develop gluten-free and sugar-free recipes. She always aims to use as many vegetables, fruits and fibre as possible, while generating as little waste as possible.
In 2024 she won gold and silver medals at the Blas na hÉireann competition, and in 2025, she won gold and bronze medals. She also won the Best in Waterford award this year.
She has delivered a large variety of custom cakes, entremets, petit gateaux, macarons for several events and customers. She prepares every piece with care, passion and the highest standards using the best quality ingredients.
