Faithlegg Hotel invited Taste Waterford to attend the launch of their new brunch menu at Bar 1783 on 18 February, along with their collaboration with the Blackwater Distillery to create their own gin.
The gin reflects Faithlegg and the nature of their surroundings with elderflower growing wild in the area.
Their new brunch menu is designed by Jenny Flynn – Executive Chef, and is open every weekend, 1.00pm – 3.00pm. The food reflects what brunch is all about – enjoying lighter tasty dishes with friends over a glass of bubbly.
Bar 1783 is a cocktail bar, converted and opened in March last year from what used to be the old gallery and reading room.
It’s a unique and modern space – a surprise waiting within Faithlegg’s otherwise old worldly and charming Georgian architecture and interiors.
