We had a special invitation by Tourism Ireland and Fáilte Ireland to attend ‘A Taste of Ireland’ – a networking event in Glasgow, 12th August.
Taste Waterford was the only organisation representing Ireland’s Ancient East, and offered the opportunity to promote Co. Waterford as a tourist destination through food and drink.
Our project manager Richard Povey gave a presentation on Taste Waterford’s role, and current food and drink offering and experiences.
He also connected with GB coach and tour operators who look to programme product and experiences for Ireland.
Buyers visited the Taste Waterford stand where they had the opportunity to learn more about award-winning producers, enjoy tasters, and discover its Taste Tours.
Taste Waterford also communicated the wider tourism offering, including visitor attractions, rich history, and accommodation.
