We were thrilled for Taste Waterford to be the only food and drink organisation to represent Ireland’s Ancient East last night at a global travel trade fair – 23 March 2026.
For three days, hundreds of buyers attend Meitheal in Killarney – Ireland’s largest and most important annual tourism trade event, key for driving international business to Irish tourism and hospitality.
Top international travel trade buyers enjoy a welcome evening to open the event, and for the first time food and drink was showcased from each of the four Fáilte Ireland brands – Wild Atlantic Way, Ireland’s Hidden Heartlands, Dublin, and Ireland’s Ancient East – where we treated buyers to a range of outstanding produce from Co. Waterford.
We’d like to say many thanks to Fáilte Ireland for the opportunity to showcase the depth of quality and range of producers in Co. Waterford and Ireland’s Ancient East.
And a huge round of applause to the generosity of our members for supplying the produce – which the buyers loved!
They include the Blackwater Distillery, Granville Hotel, GIY, Dungarvan Brewing Company, Blue Butterfly Coffee Company, Cocoa by Judit, Legacy Irish Cider, Mezze, and Walsh’s Bakehouse.
