We’re delighted to announce a new member of Taste Waterford – The Coastguard Café, Tramore.
The Coastguard Café is situated along the clifftops of Tramore offering unrivalled views of Tramore Bay from its cosy café windows and magnificent seafront gardens. The perfect spot to enjoy a coffee, light lunch or meet up with family and friends. Dogs are welcome in the gardens on leads.
The café serves a selection of speciality coffees and teas along with freshly prepared light lunches, savoury snacks and a delicious range of locally sourced cakes and sweet treats.
Open 7 days a week, offering free parking outside and safe parking for bikes, the gardens are a treat all year round with historical story boards to enjoy whilst the café and upstairs gallery host a multitude of visiting art exhibitions and stock locally made crafts. Entry is free and the building is wheelchair accessible.
The venue is also known for its lively calendar of pop-up’s, music & drama events, readings, classes and much more – for up to the minute details see www.coastguardculturalcentre.ie or follow Coastguard Cultural Centre on social media.
The Coastguard Cultural Centre and café are housed in an almost 150 year old heritage building and operates as a not for profit community cultural centre run by Tramore Development Trust, a registered charity.
We look forward to working with the team.
