It was an amazing honour to collect the Visit Waterford award at the Waterford Business Awards 2023 with the West Waterford Festival of Food last Friday (17).
The festival team scooped the prestigious accolade for their work promoting the food and drink story in West Waterford, and attracting thousands of visitors to the region over a three day period.
Taste Waterford continues this work throughout the year by supporting the food and drink community, and providing Taste Tours, Taste Trails, and other foodie events and activities.
Eunice Power, CEO of the West Waterford Festival of Food, and Richard Povey, Project Manager at Taste Waterford, received the award from Ivona Carr, Fáilte Ireland – category sponsors.
Many thanks to the Waterford Chamber of Commerce, the Dungarvan and West Waterford Chamber, Waterford City & County Council, WLRFM, and also the Tower Hotel & Leisure Centre for an amazing meal and evening.
